A group of 8-year-olds now hold the bragging rights as the best little league baseball team in Louisiana.
The Lafayette Little League All-Star Team known as the Ghost Runners spent the weekend battling it out with some of the state’s best coach pitch teams.
On Sunday, the team claimed the championship trophy after coming back from four elimination games on Saturday after dropping their first game.
