One woman has been injured following a shooting Tuesday afternoon in Lafayette
Lafayette Police say they responded to a shooting at a residence in the 100 block of Doc Duhon Street at around 2:00 pm.
A 34-year-old woman, according to police, was transported to a local hospital with a gunshot wound. Police say she remains in critical condition. Police believe the shooting may have stemmed from a domestic altercation.
This shooting remains under investigation. No arrests have been made at this time, according to police.
