Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers is asking for help from the public in solving an aggravated burglary that happened around midnight on June 21 in the 6100 block of Standard Mill Road.
The homeowner was awakened by two armed men wearing ski masks and gloves. The suspects demanded the victim to unlock a safe in the home. Once the safe was opened, the suspects removed an AR-15 rifle, a 12 gauge shotgun, several pieces of jewelry and money before fleeing the residence.
Police believe the suspects had prior knowledge of the safe.
