Danny Semmes has been appointed Police Chief of the city of Jennings.
Mayor Henry Guinn chose Semmes to lead the city’s police department.
Chief Semmes served as Deputy Chief with the department for years before he was named interim chief after long-time chief Todd D’Albour left the department. D’Albour is now the new Police Chief in New Iberia
