According to WBRZ, the Pointe Coupee Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Duson man in connection with the death of 20-year-old Madeleine Falgout.
21-year-old Eric Duhon, Jr. of Duson was arrested by the Pointe Coupee Parish Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday after an investigation into Monday’s homicide. Duhon was arrested and booked on a charge of second-degree murder in Falgout’s death.
Deputies say that a family member found Falgout dead inside her Pointe Coupee Parish home on Monday. According to WBRZ, deputies believe she may have been beaten with a baseball bat found at the scene.
