Miss Louisiana 2018 will be crowned live on CW tonight.
The preliminary competition was last night at the Monroe Civic Center, and ended with Miss Crescent City NOLA taking top honors in talent and Miss Heart of Pilot taking the Lifestyle Fitness Swimsuit.
A total of 33 young women are competing for scholarships and the crown. The finals and crowning will begin at 8 p.m. tonight. The winner will compete in the Miss American contest.
The Miss Louisiana Organization will award over $1,000,000 in in-kind scholarships during the competition; that means that education institutions agree to waive tuition.
Laryssa Bonacquisit, Miss Louisiana 2017, will relinquish the crown at the conclusion of the finals Saturday night.
