Rally Marketing, Opportunity Machine and other agencies held the third annual Social Media Day Lafayette on Friday at the UL Student Union.
The event was held from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm and was free and open to the public.
The conference included forums where beginners, experts, and small business owners can learn about new trends on social media and connect with others in the community.
An afterparty will be held at 8:00 pm at Wurst Biergarten.
Social Media Day was started in 2010 by Mashable as a way to recognize and celebrate the impact of social media on global communication.
