In Louisiana, some users of EBT systems may have experienced some issues when using their cards Wednesday
Officials with the Department of Child and Family Services say the EBT system experienced slowdowns on some of its point-of-sale networks at around 4:00 p.m.
"While the system as a whole did not go down, the slowdowns prevented transactions from processing in some locations," said Heidi Kinchen Public Information Officer of DCFS.
All those networks are now up and running again, according to DCFS.
