State police are investigating the death of a suspect who was stun-gunned by a police officer.
According to Chief David Anderson of the Carencro Police Department, the incident happened on Wednesday, June 13. Anderson says the suspect died in an area hospital today.
Anderson adds that he requested state police investigate the incident. He referred other questions to state police, who could only confirm that they are investigating the case.
