The City of Scott is celebrating the almost-beginning of summer with their new monthly market.
On the third Saturday of each month, those living in Scott and surrounding areas are invited to get to know their neighbors, learn about some local nonprofits and shop at the farmers’ market.
There are activities for the kids, too, like a petting zoo and face painting.
Each month, there will be a new musical guest. This evening, attendees jammed out to Horace Trahan & the Ossun Express. Next month, Terry & the Bad Boys will be performing.
The Scott Market, located at 916 Cayret Street, is from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
