The Ville Platte Police department has released new details on Thursday’s fatal stabbing in the city.
Police Chief Neal Lartigue says that a man was killed yesterday during a domestic disturbance at a home in Ville Platte. Police say the victim may have died due to a stab wound he received during the incident.
25-year-old Jessica Williams was arrested in connection with the fatal incident She was booked into the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office jail on a charge of negligent homicide. Williams bond is set at $125,000.
More details will be released upon release of the coroner’s report.
