The grandfather of the man accused in a weekend homicide and arson is now facing charges in connection with that case.

Donald Boutte, 62, Breaux Bridge, has been booked on one count of accessory to second-degree murder in the death of Simone Robin and one count of obstruction of justice.  He remains in the St. Martin Parish Jail without bond.

His grandson, Brandon Boutte, is facing a second-degree murder charge for allegedly shooting and killing Robin last Thursday morning and one count of simple arson for allegedly setting her trailer on fire.  Robin’s body was found Sunday on a levee near Port Barre.

Another relative, Toby Boutte, is also facing an accessory to murder charge.
