St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s deputies have released the name of the person who died in a hit-and-run crash in Amelia this week.
Deputies say Leslie Matthews, 43, was the victim.
The accident happened around midnight on Duhon Boulevard in Amelia.
Officers say they have no information about the vehicle involved.
They’re asking that anyone with any information about the crash to call the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Detectives Section at 985-384-1622 or 337-828-1960.
