Law enforcement agencies are working to protect senior citizens in St. Landry Parish.
Speakers shared tips on how to avoid scams, drug awareness and personal safety during today’s TRIAD workshop in Port Barre.
"Today’s workshop is about 200 guest we’re going to feed them some good pork steak, we have door prizes, we have guest speakers that will be talking about health care the newest Medicaid issues," said Major Eddie Thibodeaux, spokesman for the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.
