The Abbeville City Council will consider extending its smoking ban. The city already has banned for smoking in enclosed spaces, but there are currently some exceptions.
The Abbeville City Council will vote tonight on whether they will ban smoking in bingo halls and bars across the city. Several people who regularly play at the hall said there is a smoking and a non-smoking section, and they believe as long as everyone has a section where they feel respected, they shouldn’t be told what to do.
The meeting is scheduled to start at 5:30.
