Lafayette, La —  Scott Police are on the look out for a group of vandals who spray-painted graffiti on the walls of Acadiana High School’s football stadium Tuesday morning.

Surveillance camera footage shows at least 3 individuals entering the facility around 3:45 a.m. on Tuesday. A Scott Police cruiser entered the stadium parking lot at approximately 3:50 a.m., but the suspects can be seen fleeing into the darkness one minute later.

At this time Scott police says its still looking to find who is responsible.

"It’s just hateful and it’s wrong," said Acadiana High alumna Michelle Lutgring. Lutgring walks on the track inside the Rams’ stadium with friends several times a week. And she’s not alone.

"We’d like to open the stadium to the community," said Acadiana High’s principal David Lejeune. "We’d like people to use our stadium," he said. "We don’t normally lock the gates and we’d hate that it would have to come to us locking it up to keep individuals from disrupting our campus.
