The suspect in an officer-involved shooting has been identified.
Tyland Nerve, 25, of Franklin, was involved in a shooting with an officer early Tuesday morning in Lafayette.
Troopers say Lafayette Police Officers were called to the scene of a domestic disturbance at the Super 7 motel on the Evangeline Thruway just south of I-10. State police say that a man fled from officers on foot and shots were fired during that pursuit.
Nerve was injured in the shooting and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
No officers were injured in the shooting.
Witnesses at the scene tell KATC that they heard shouting followed by gunshots.

State Police say they are still investigating the incident.
