Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting that left one person injured in Carencro.
Deputies responded to the shooting around 2:46 p.m. They were lead to the intersection of Auburn and Bradford Drive and the intersection of N University Ave. and W St. Peter St. in connection with the investigation. A spokesman with Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office says they are investigating multiple locations.
The victim was transported to a local hospital. The spokesman says their condition is unknown at this time.
No arrests have been reported.
