There is a new spot for artists to showcase their work in downtown Lafayette.
The Omni Center held its grand opening today next door to the Greenroom on Jefferson Street.
"We incorporate all of the arts under one roof," said Chad Lege, The Omni Center. "From artisans, craft makers, performance arts, dance, comedy, anything you can put on stage. We are kind of an incubator. We love to take up and coming artist and facilitate their needs."
The venue also includes an art market and fine art gallery.
