After roughly 13 years of classes and lessons, seniors in Lafayette Parish now have their diplomas in hand.
The Cajundome was full of caps and gowns as Acadiana High, Carencro High, Comeaux High, Lafayette High and Northside High held their ceremonies Saturday.
One Acadiana High graduate tells us his hope for his graduating class.
"I hope everybody else can just feel this emotion that I’m feeling right now. It’s beautiful to be able to graduate and go onto the next chapter in your life," said Kanyon St. Julien.
