The St. Martinville Police Department says they have arrested a man in connection with the homicide on West Bridge Street.
The department says they arrested Tradell Demouchet on charges of Accessory After the Fact to First Degree Murder.
Demouchet was identified by the department as a second suspect in the homicide and arrested. He has been booked into the St. Martin Parish Jail.
A warrant has been issued for another suspect, Jaqualin Henry of Parks. Henry is wanted by the department on charges of first-degree murder in connection with the death of Chosen Washington.

The arrest of Demouchet and warrant for Henry’s arrest stem from an investigation into the death of Chosen Washington who was shot and killed on West Bridge Street in St. Martinville on the evening of May, 9. Another person was injured in that shooting.
