The Mayor of Ville Platte posted an announcement regarding water service on her Facebook page yesterday:
VILLE PLATTE-WATER CUT-OFF IN SOME AREAS TOMORROW (WEDNESDAY) MORNING! The Contractors will be cutting & capping old water lines. In order to do this, water will be cut off on the following streets from 7:30am to about 12noon: STAGG STREET from E. MAGNOLIA to E.D.ALFRED and along E. D. ALFRED from STAGG STREET to EVANGELINE STREET. Then, AROUND 12noon til about 5pm-from S. CHATAIGNIER STREET from COTTON STREET to PINE STREET. Please reserve water tonight for your daily activities tomorrow during the cut off times. When water is turned back on, the above areas will be under a BOIL ADVISORY until further notice.
