Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Lake Charles woman for her alleged role in an Iowa burglary.
Detectives were investigating a burglary that happened in Iowa on April 15. Detectives discovered that two rings were pawned at Cash America in Lake Charles on Monday April 16, 2018.
On Monday April 30, Detectives interviewed Megan Alice Heard, 31. Heard allegedly admitted to taking the rings and selling them at the Pawn shop in Lake Charles. Heard was booked with Theft and Obstruction of Justice and is held in the parish jail with no bond.
