Morgan City Police have arrested a local man in connection with the molestation of a juvenile.
Miguel Diaz, 52, was arrested in Scott.
The investigation began in March, when detectives received a complaint of molestation by a juvenile. After obtaining warrants for Diaz’s arrest, police were told he was in Scott. He was arrested there with the assistance of the Scott Police Department.
Diaz is an undocumented person, and is being held in the Morgan City Jail on the molestation charge, and on detainers from Immigration Enforcement.
