Four UL Alumni are being honored for their achievements in the engineering industry.
They were recognized on Engineering Alumni Wall of Honor with plaques dedicated in their names.
The wall inspires thousands of engineer students and showcases potential career opportunities within their field.
"This group right here is a very international group and that just goes to show that engineers, not only do we build cool things, but we also treat ourselves as citizens of the community," said Mark Zappi, Dean of Engineering, UL. "And these people are very indicative of the type of people we are talking about."
The four outstanding engineering alumni are:
- Ibrahim Al-Alawi, B.S. Petroleum Engineering, 1988
- Mohammad “Ema” Haq, B.S. Mechanical Engineering, 1993
- Alexandre “Alex” Theriot, Jr., B.S. Civil Engineering, 1959
- Charles “Chuck” L. Treadway, B.S. Electrical & Computer Engineering, 1988
