Police in Breaux Bridge are working a crash involving a pedestrian on Grand Point Hwy.
Assistant Police Chief Terry Latiolais says the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while walking along Grand Point Highway sometime in the 9:00 pm hour. That person was airlifted to the hospital and is believed to have sustained serious injuries.
The crash happened near Grand Point Highway’s intersection with Elise-D. The driver of the vehicle has not been cited at this time, according to Latiolais.
