Starting today, area police departments will be on the lookout for truck drivers and passengers not wearing their seatbelts.
The "Buckle up in Your Truck" campaign which will continue through next Thursday, will put extra officers on patrol looking for violations.
It’s made possible in part by a grant from the Louisiana Highway Saftey Commission.
