The closing celebration of the 5th Annual Academy of Visual and Applied Arts student showcase.
Students from Comeaux High School’s Visual and Applied Arts Academy showcased their works at the Lafayette Art Association and Gallery.
"This space has continuously supported our young artists throughout the Lafayette community and they enjoy seeing the student artists thrive in expressing themselves through the language of the visual arts," organizers say.
The event showcased paintings, sculpture, drawings, photography and digital art.
The closing reception was held from 5:00 p.m.- 6:30 p.m.
