Agents with the state Wildlife and Fisheries Department are working now to recover the body of a boater in Iberia Parish.
Lt. Sean Green said the boater left home about 7 a.m. yesterday to go fishing in his aluminum flatboat, and did not return home last night as expected.
Green said his agents were dispatched this morning, and they are now in the process of recovering the boater’s body.
Green said the boat had not capsized, but he had no other details.
