The UL Lafayette Trio that traveled across Europe in an international marketing competition is back in Lafayette tonight.
The team of Sam Riehl, Emily Daigle, and Brandii Champagne were one of 200 teams in the competition in which they traveled across Europe using only Red Bull as currency. Teams were selected from 60 countries around the world.
Team Cajun returned to Lafayette Wednesday afternoon having placed 15th out of 200 competing teams.
After graduation, all three are headed to Chicago, Illinois. Riehl says that he has a job there and Daigle and Champagne will be pursuing acting careers.
