A reminder to all those last-minute filers. The last day to file your federal income taxes is today.
The deadline, which is normally on April 15 every year, was pushed back due to the date falling on a Sunday. Monday, April 16 was a holiday in Washington D.C. so today is the final day to file.
The state income tax deadline is still scheduled for May 15th.
