A new set of business owners are restoring hope for some bowlers in New Iberia.
The Cajun Bowl is now open between Main and St. Peter streets where Bayou Pins Bowling Center used to be.
The new bowling alley’s opening comes 40 days after the center shut down.
"It’s a place for everybody to go as a family," said Carmen DiPaolantino, owner, Cajun Bowl. "Bring your family and enjoy the bowling center. We are working on a game room here on the end. It’s not quite ready yet, but hopefully, in the next month, it’ll be ready. We are just trying to make a good experience for everybody."
