The Acadiana Press Club covered disability access for its monthly newsmaker forum.
During the event, speakers went over how the city is handling issues with disability access.
"I’m physically incapable of getting up from a chair without having to set aside my dignity and my pride and my independence, and I’m tired of being neglected and overlooked and I’ve decided to do something about it. If it takes the rest of my life, we will get it done," Ray Green, Founder, Project Armchair.
