On Thursday, Lafayette’s newest restaurant presented a $10,000 check to the Boy’s and Girls Club of Acadiana.

The donation was made possible through the money received during the restaurants Grand Opening on March 24, 2018.

Franchise owner and Lafayette native, Jason Trotter, was intent on partnering with a local nonprofit
organization to give back to the Lafayette community, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana was his first choice. "I think it’s so important to give back to your community and I love everything the Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana represents. I look forward to working with them in the future," Trotter explained.

Randi Landry, Director of Resource Development for the organization, said, "The Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana is so incredibly grateful for El Pollo Loco’s contribution. Our organization is a tremendous asset to the Acadiana area, but we cannot serve the nearly 4,000 local youth that we serve without partnerships with local businesses and the community at large. This gift from El Pollo Loco will certainly go a long way to ensuring that our club members have the resources they need to advance academically and personally and to obtain the greatest future possible.
