The Lafayette Parish School Board has voted unanimously to pay out the remainder of former superintendent Pat Cooper’s contract.
The board agreed Wednesday night to offer Cooper his salary and benefits plus interest. This comes after an appeals court ruled that the board wrongfully fired cooper in 2014.
