The Lafayette Police Department says that they will conduct an OWI Checkpoint on Friday, April 13 in the incorporated limits of Lafayette.
The checkpoint will take place from 9:00 pm to 3:00 am.
The department says that the checkpoint will target impaired drivers under the influence of alcohol or dangerous substances.
Officers say they will respond with zero tolerance to those found under the influence. Police ask that those intending to drink should designate a driver.
