Lafayette Consolidated Government will hold the 2nd Annual Robideaux Report and Showcase of Culture and Technology on Thursday, April 12 at the Heymann Performing Arts Center.

The evening will begin with the address from Mayor-President Robideaux at 6:00 pm. The Technology Showcase will follow at 7:00 pm.

This year’s Robideaux Report will reflect on the events of 2017, including an update on CREATE, the City-Parish cultural economy initiative designed to support and grow the creative community in Lafayette Parish. The Report will also cover the challenges that are ahead for the city and parish.

The Report this year is themed " The Intersection of Culture and Technology" and will focus on the opportunities for Lafayette Parish in the growing tech and cultural industries. Several new initiatives will also be unveiled during Robideaux’s address.

A Showcase of Culture and Technology will follow the address. All are invited to attend. Tech firms and local artists will be presenting projects that will highlight food, beverages, sights, sounds, and ideas that organizers say make Lafayette Parish special.
