Students in the French immersion program in Lafayette Parish are raising money for their choir to travel to Canada to perform.
The group Les Étoiles de Louisiane held a fundraiser Sunday at The Wurst Biergarten.
In June, the students plan to visit the francophone school St. John’s in Newfoundland.
Proceeds from the event are going toward travel costs and chaperones.
