Louisiana State Police are on the scene of a vehicle fire north of Opelousas on I-49, near the Ville Platte exit.
The outside lane is blocked on I-49 southbound at Exit 23 while State Police work the situation. The inside lane is flowing, according to a watch commander for the department.
