A man has been arrested by the Denham Springs Police Department after driving a vehicle in reverse and getting into a fight with police officers.
According to WBRZ, the man was driving his vehicle in reverse in the 900 block of Florida Avenue when police pulled him over. After an investigation by police, it was learned that the vehicle could only travel in reverse.
The driver, identified as 41-year-old Danny Weber, was also found to be driving with a suspended license and no insurance.
Police say that when a tow truck arrived to pick up the vehicle Weber allegedly began fighting with police. According to WBRZ, officers used a taser on Weber and took him into custody.
Weber was taken to the Livingston Parish Detention Center and was booked on charges of careless operation, driving an unsafe vehicle, no insurance, driving under suspension, and resisting an officer.
