Iberia Parish detectives have arrested a man accused of two armed robberies in New Iberia last month.
Mark Anthony Wesley Jr. was booked into the Iberia Parish jail today, records show. He was booked with four counts armed robbery and one count possession of marijuana. No bond has yet been set for his release, records show.
Wesley, 23, is accused of robbing the Family Dollar Store on March 28 and the Dollar General Store on March 29.
In the first incident, two customers and a cashier at the Family Dollar on West Admiral Doyle were robbed at gunpoint.
In the second incident, the cashier of the Dollar General on West Admiral Doyle was robbed.
