The deadline to apply for Cox Communications’ Innovation in Education grants is quickly approaching.
The Cox Charities Innovation in Education Program is offering up to $2,500 to schools in their Southeast Region (Acadiana, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Florida Gulf Coast, Central Florida, and Middle Georgia) to fund classroom programs and curriculum that the company says promotes students’ ingenuity and imagination through the innovative use of technology.
The company says that multiple applications can be submitted for various programs within schools.
The grants, totaling a combined $55,868, were funded by contributions from Cox employees.
Teachers for grades Pre-K through 12 can apply for the grants until April 9, 2018. Applications are available online at CoxCharitiesSER.org.
