The Lafayette Police Department says they have arrested two suspects wanted in connection with a home invasion in Lafayette.

Police say Daremus Fils and Wilbert Chaisson have been arrested in connection with a home invasion in the 100 block of Brushwood Drive in Lafayette on March 19. Police say that the two suspects allegedly forced their way into the home with a firearm while the homeowners were present.

Police say the suspects removed valuables from the home and fled in a dark-colored Buick Sedan. Video surveillance was used to identify Fils and Chaisson as suspects in the alleged burglary.

Warrants were issued and executed for both Fils and Chaisson. They were arrested and charged with aggravated burglary.
