Today was New Vision Leadership Youth Professional Development Day at the Acadiana Pilot Training Center.
The center, at the Lafayette Regional Airport, offered children a chance to learn about the aviation profession, ending with a flight over Lafayette.
Thirty kids who have never flown before went up in a plane to see their city from above.
