Job seekers had a chance to meet with more than a dozen employers today at a Job Fair held at Abbeville High School.
The event was presented by SLCC, Goodwill Industries of Acadiana, Louisiana Workforce Commission and LSU at Alexandria.
Prior to the job fair, where 20 employers were present to meet with hopefuls, the partnership presented events for employers and for job seekers.
Last month, there was an employer workshop at SLCC’s Gulf Area Campus. And Goodwill offered counseling sessions every Tuesday leading up to the event.
