Firefighters are on the scene of a gas leak on Cameron Street in Lafayette.
DOTD hit a gas line while working in the area, according to Alton Trahan, spokesman for the fire department.
Cameron Street is closed from Scott Street to Cajundome Blvd., until further notice.
