Abby Breidenbach was LIVE in Crowley where Downtown will be transformed into the “Carnival D’Acadie.” Also in Acadia Parish, the 32nd Annual Tee Mamou-Iota Mardi Gras Folklife Festival will kick off beginning at 9:00 am.
And rounding out our coverage of Louisiana’s most anticipated holiday, Chris Welty was in New Orleans where cook-outs are already underway in preparation for the Zulu and Rex Parades.
Parade goers are already lining the streets in the city to catch one of the 35,000 coveted Zulu coconuts that will be tossed to revelers during the parade.
