As severe weather threatens New Orleans, several changes have been made to today’s Carnival schedule.
The city’s Emergency Preparedness office, which is coordinating the parades, tweeted that Okeanos, MidCity and Thoth will roll an hour early, starting at 10 a.m.
So far, Bacchus is still scheduled to roll as usual tonight.
Only floats will parade.
To expedite parades ahead of expected afternoon thunderstorms, #Okeanos, #MidCity & #Thoth will roll floats only. First parade starts at 10am.
