Vehicles and trailers will not be allowed along the Mardi Gras parade route in Youngsville – unless they are parked on private property.
If trailers or vehicles are illegally parked, police will attempt to contact the owner so they can be removed. If the owner can not be located, the vehicle will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Police want to ensure everyone will be able to stand behind the barricades and feel safe while enjoying the parade, according to Rickey Boudreaux, Chief of Police, Youngsville Police Department.
The parade will roll March 2, 2019, at 11:00 am.
