A man connected to the 8 women murdered in Jeff Davis Parish was arrested on drug and soliciting prostitution charges in his hometown of Morse, LA. The chief of police says Frankie Richard was taken into custody at his home.
He's expected to be booked into the Acadia Parish jail.
Richard, a former strip club owner, reportedly knew all the victims. Richard was named as a person of interest, but he was never charged in connection with any of the murders.
This arrest comes on the same day the first part of a five-part documentary on the Jennings Eight murders is set to air. "Murder In The Bayou" will air on Showtime at 8:00 pm.
